Called to Deadhead Separate and Apart (pre ’85 only) -- GCA Claim Code 20

Allow 130 miles separate and apart deadhead account called for ____hrs. to deadhead separate and apart (DH84-26) from AX340 to AX171. At ____hrs, while en route in limo, we were instructed by dispatcher ABC to board train ________ at AX226 and work it to AX171. I was not called to deadhead combined with service.

NOTE: If it is intended that the deadhead for which you are called is to be combined with subsequent service, then you must be notified of that fact at the time you are called. If not so notified, then the deadhead and service cannot be combined.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR SUCCESSFUL ADJUDICATION

1. Copies of transaction log or board standing showing original call time for S&A deadhead.
2. Copy of your HOS report (MUST be filled out correctly and completely showing all the times and circ7’s and/or mileposts for deadhead and service portions of the trip).

OPTIONAL DOCUMENTATION OFFERING A BETTER CHANCE AT SUCCESS

1. Copy of the limo report showing deadhead (=LD-insert calling area-I).
