Hostling Violation (Road) – GCA Claim Code 50

Sample claim #1: I was working in the AX340 RE45 pool on train MSAHO-12. After yarding my train in yd1 track 24 at my final terminal B372, I was instructed by Yardmaster Smith to pick up engines UP1217 and UPY1312 from yd1 track 23 and hostle them to service track #1 along with my inbound power. The UP1217 and UPY1312 were not a part of, nor had any connection to, my road assignment and there were yard engines employed and on duty at the time of this move from 1200hrs to 1230hrs.

Sample claim #2: I was working in the AX340 RE45 pool on train MSAHO-12. After yarding my train in yd1 track 24 at my final terminal B372, I was instructed by Yardmaster Smith to hostle my inbound power to the south end of yd1 track 27 and couple to the south end of that track, which contained the outbound MHOSA-13. Track 27 is not the engine house track or layup track and there were yard engines employed and on duty at the time of this move from 1230hrs to 1300hrs.
