Shorted Miles (Lap back, Double Hill, etc.) -- GCA Claim Code 54

 

I was on duty at TP250 on train MEPFW-12 for 1600hrs and was required to double a hill account engine failure. I ran a distance of 22 miles, from MP288 to MP277 and return to train at MP288, in addition to the 198 district miles of my assigned run from TP448 to TP250. This extra mileage was declined. Time on this move from 0600hrs to 0800hrs.

 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION FOR SUCCESSFUL ADJUDICATION

 
  1. Copies of transaction log (ZB-insert circ7-insert board ID-T-E-; ; ;-insert date mmdd) or board standings (ZB-insert circ7-insert board ID) showing original call time and train.
  2. Copy of your HOS report (MUST be filled out correctly and completely        showing all the times and circ7’s and/or mileposts for the trip, including the lap back or double.
