Sample Claim Language for AX308 RE55 Rock Pool Claim

 

I was first out, rested and available for service on train ###### - ## on the above date when engineer ######### was called off the AX340 RE46 pool at #### to deadhead to New Braunsfels to pick up the above mentioned train within the jurisdictional limits of the New Braunfels Rock Pool in violation of the San Antonio Hub Agreement Article III Section A Paragraph 5. 

 

Documents requested:

1.      Transaction log or board print out either from TCS or the UP Employee Website showing claimant first out who was denied the work opportunity off the 55 pool.

2.      Transaction log or board print out either from TCS or UP Employee Website showing the RE46 engineer that was called to perform the service on the rock train.

3.      FRA report tie up report or completed work history showing correct FRA tie up regarding exactly what moves were made by the RE46 pool engineer.  This tie up needs to be completed just exactly as the service was preformed by properly filling out all the required moves with both rubber tire and rail miles.  This is essential because if the engineer shows a trip beginning at AX340 and ending at AX171 on their FRA report with no activity at New Braunsfels it will invalidate the claim of the RE55 pool engineer for not being used.  This FRA tie up is a federal document that is electronically signed by each employee upon completion of his tie up.  It is mandated by law that this report be accurate  A copy of instructions regarding how to properly fill out this report can be secured at our GCA website at http://www.bleupsrgca.com/HOS%20Reporting.pdf or by going to our main page www.bleupsrgca.com and selecting the agreement page from the top menu.

I was called for service on train ###### - ## on the above date off the AX340 RE46 pool turn at #### to deadhead to New Braunsfels to pick up the above mentioned train within the jurisdictional limits of the New Braunfels Rock Pool in violation of the San Antonio Hub Agreement Article III Section A Paragraph 5.  I departed AX340 at #### and arrived New Braunfels at ####.  We departed New Braunfels at #### and finally tied up at (location) at ####.

2.      Transaction log or board print out either from TCS or UP Employee Website showing claimant the RE46 engineer that was called to perform the service on the rock train.
